A British, Iranian writer and essayist based in Barcelona.

Writer and essayist exploring identity, culture, womanhood and the inner life.

After thirteen years working in law and education, I am now building a career dedicated to writing. My work explores identity, belonging, womanhood, culture and the quiet transformations that shape our lives.

I am currently writing and pitching personal essays to UK publications, while developing Being Iranian, a collection of intimate reflections on heritage and identity, and a children’s novel for readers aged eight to ten.

I am also the creator of The Inquisitive Mind, an independent journal of essays, observations and stories inspired by the questions that make us look at life differently.
